There is a business ombudsman in Kazakhstan
Bolat Palymbetov was assigned to the post of the Commissioner for protection of entrepreneurs' rights, reported the press service of Akorda.
"By order of the President of RK Mr. Bolat Abylkasymovich Palymbetov was appointed the Commissioner for the protection of entrepreneurs’ rights", - stated the text of the order.
Mr. Bolat Abylkasymovich Palymbetov was born on 28th of July 1961 in Kyzylorda region.
In 1984 he graduated from the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V. I. Lenin with the degree of an engineer. In 1998, the Eurasian Institute, majoring in economy. From 1984 to 1991 – he was an engineer-programmer, head of Department, computing center of collective use of State Committee for Publishing in USSR. Deputy Chairman of the youth industrial complex "Kaisar". Head of Department of applied research of the national center for system studies.
From 1991 to 1993 - Chairman of the Board of the youth Fund "Zhastar". Deputy Director of a small enterprise "Olzha". Head of the economic Department of the Almaty city Committee on youth Affairs. Director of insurance company "Astana-Policy".
From 1993 to 1997 – Managing director of investment-privatization Fund "Astana-Invest".
From 1997 to 1999 - President of JSC "Corporation "Astana-holding". Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Corporation "Astana-holding". Deputy Chairman of JSC "Halyk savings Bank of Kazakhstan".
From 1999 to 2001 - Deputy akim of Atyrau oblast.
From 2001 to 2002 - Vice-Minister of economy and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Deputy General Director of CJSC "KazTransOil". General Director of JSC "KazTransOil". First Deputy General Director of JSC "national company "Transport of oil and gas".
