Paris opens doors to Kazakhstani business
Investment forum "Meeting with Kazakhstan" is held during these days in the French capital
It is organized by French state organization “Business France” with the support of the French Embassy in Kazakhstan.
At the largest business platform, along with 60 medium and large French companies participated the representatives of Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.
"Kazakhstan has created all the conditions for improvement in order to ensure the competitiveness of Kazakhstan's investment business climate in the world in accordance with the world’s best practice. The business community of the country is ready to cooperate with French colleagues, learn from successful experiences and implement joint projects. In this regard, Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan is ready to serve as a bridge for the creation of a reliable partnership between the two countries", - said the deputy chairman of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Alikhan Kanapia during his speech at the forum.
He also spoke about the peculiarities of French colleagues to encourage investment in priority sectors of the economy, the protection of patent rights and investment, public-private partnerships, the improvement of Kazakhstan’s positions in the ranking of Doing Business in 2016 and privatization of quasi-public companies.
Meanwhile, a large number of representatives of the French business and the head of the EBRD Kazakhstan Ms. Janet Heckman shared their experience in Kazakhstan.
Ambassador of France to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Francis Etienne stressed the enormous opportunities for French business in Kazakhstan and urged businessmen to go actively to Kazakhstan.
