Serik Sultanov died
A 58th year old well-known Kazakh public figure, the founder of the Kazakhstan pharmaceutical and medical industry Serik Sultanov died
Serik Sultanov Egelevich was born on 9th of October 1959 in the village of Panfilovo of Pavlodar region. In 1980 he graduated from Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute, majoring in "Mathematics". His professional career began with work in high school and the secretary of the district committee of LKSMK of Irtysh district, then head of the department of Pavlodar regional committee of LKSMK.
In the years 1990-1998 he was General Director of JSC "Med-polymer". Since 1998 he worked as the General Director of the State Enterprise "Center of medicines" Dari-Darmek". Since 2002, he headed the Committee of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2004 to present, he was president of the Association "FarmMedIndustriya of Kazakhstan" and suppliers of medical equipment, as well as a member of the Committee of the pharmaceutical and medical industry and medical services of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken".
In addition, since 2007 he was a member of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in 2008 – a member of the Expert Council on Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Agency for Protection of Competition and since 2009 in the Board of Directors of JSC "National Medical Holding".
National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken” of RK expresses its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Serik Sultanov.
A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2017 at 09.30 hours at the National Science Cardiac Surgery Center in Astana, Turan Avenue, 38.
