Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, during a visit to Akmola region, held a meeting with entrepreneurs
On 4th of August Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagintayev B.A. made a working trip to Akmola region, where he met with entrepreneurs and heads of state bodies. By the results of the trip, specific instructions were given to solve the problematic issues of the tourism industry and further development of Shchuchinsk-Burabay resort zone (hereinafter - SBRZ). Thus, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave instructions to work out the issues of improving the methodology for accounting tourist flows, cancel payment for using the territory of Burabay resort for children and disabled people. It should be noted that at the suggestion of the Chairman of the Tourism Association of Akmola region Kayrat Sultanov, the National Chamber proposed proposals to supplement the new edition of the Tax Code for cancelation of payment for the use of national park territories for children, disabled people, holder of some national awards.
The draft law is at the stage of coordination with all state bodies. The protocol also includes an item on consideration of the possibility of introducing changes to the Unified Program of BRM-2020 in terms of extending the crediting period and reducing the minimum investment volume to 300 million KZT while carrying out infrastructure for small and medium-sized businesses, and jointly with JSC "DBK" consider the reduction of the loan amount to 1 billion KZT for large business entities that implement investment projects in the tourism industry. The protocol also reflects the development of infrastructure in the Akmola region.
The Head of Government gave instructions to consider the issue of repairing the Omsk-Burabay highway through the Bidayk checkpoint, the possibility of restoring direct rail links along the Omsk-Borovoe route, and developing the capacity of regional airports in transit transport, charter flights from the border regions of the Russian Federation, as well as to improve the quality of mobile communication services and mobile Internet on the territory of SBRZ and the republican highway "Astana - Schuchinsk", and also to develop Roadmaps for the development of social, children's and suburban recreation.
In addition, according to the document, it is planned during a meeting with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev to raise issues of crossing the state border by charter tourist buses out of turn, as well as recognizing the citizens of both states as "internal tourists". Special attention is required for the initiative of the members of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs to hold a World Congress of Chefs at SBRZ in 2018. This initiative will be considered by the Ministries of Culture and Sports, the national economy, labor and social protection of the population, health care, and finance. It should be noted that the issues of further development of the SBRZ in the near future will also be considered at the meeting chaired by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
