"Anti-Counterfeit - 2017" Protection and formation of the civilized goods market
From September 14 to 16 of September, the fifth International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2017" took place in Bishkek
In Bishkek was held the 5th International Forum "Anti-Counterfeit-2017". The forum is dedicated to the problems of protection of intellectual property rights and counteraction to illicit illegal trafficking of industrial products. The event was supported by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the International Association of Organizations in this field. The Fifth International Forum was held at the State Residence of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
ALE "Kazakhstani Association of Cement and Concrete Manufacturers" took part in 3 sections of the forum. The subject of which was - "The role of technical regulation in countering illicit trafficking of industrial products. pilot project on introduction of a notification procedure in cement industry".
Executive Director of ALE "Kazakhstani Association of Cement and Concrete Producers" Erbol Akymbayev spoke about the main problem issues within the framework of the subject. "Imported low-quality cement from Iran does not show the declared strength, does not comply with Kazakhstani standards and norms. The problem is also falsification of 50 kilogram bags in the Kazakhstani market by unscrupulous business entities in the retail segment of cement", - Erbol Akymbayev said.
Within the framework of the forum, a meeting of the Subcommittee on coordination of actions to protect intellectual property rights was held at the Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property of the Eurasian Economic Commission. The EEC delegation was led by the head of the secretariat of the commission, a member of the board on economy and financial policy Askar Kishkembayev. Representatives of interested departments, business communities, scientific and public organizations, as well as experts in specialized fields were invited to participate in the forum.

At this site, representatives of member states, heads of major international companies and organizations, leading international experts discuss the problems of protecting the civilized market from illicit trafficking of industrial products, including counterfeit and falsified, as well as ensuring intellectual property rights. Among the main objectives of the forum is the development of coordinated approaches and proposals by member states to improve the effectiveness of combating the spread of counterfeit products, protecting intellectual property rights and creating a civilized market for goods and services.
