International festival "Journey through the Great Silk Road of Kazakhstan" starts in a number of cities of Kazakhstan
The festival starts from 10th to 16th of November 2017
The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with akimats of Almaty, Zhambyl and South-Kazakhstan regions will organize the International Festival "Traveling along the Great Silk Road of Kazakhstan" from 10 to 16 of November 2017 with the aim of attracting international and domestic tourists and integrating the historical route of the Silk Road Kazakhstan into the world tourist space.
This Festival is held within the framework of the Year of China Tourism in Kazakhstan, as well as within the framework of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism Development. The mission of the Festival is to develop tourism in the regions that are part of the "Revival of the Great Silk Road" cluster of the Concept for the Development of the Tourism Industry of Kazakhstan until 2023. The co-organizers of the Festival are NCE RK "Atameken", ALE "Capital association of tourism", Eurasian association of tourism.
The festival will be held 10-11 of November in Almaty, 11-13th of November in Taraz and 14-16th of November 2017 in Shymkent. The festival will end with the closing ceremony of the Year of China Tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 17th of November in Astana. The Air Astana airline, hotel Kazzhol, tour operators Skyway and Explore Central Asia supported this festival. The Festival program provides an opportunity for representatives of the Kazakhstani and Chinese tourist business community and representatives of international organizations to get acquainted with the cultural heritage and tourist potential of the cluster "Revival of the Great Silk Road" in a short time.
In each region there will be conducted info-tours for tour operators, bloggers, civil servants of the PRC; В2В meetings, photo exhibition “Zhibek Zholy. Kazakhstan”, as well as master classes and seminars of international specialists in the field of tourism. In Almaty on 10th of November will be held a master class on author's training of the Chinese language. On 11th of November, a master class of Chinese traditional cuisine will be organized, "Features of cooking for guests from China", as well as the Seminar "Innovative and digital technologies in the work of Ctrip".
In Taraz on 12-13 of November will be held the International Tourism Forum and the international exhibition "Ancient Taraz - 2017". Within the framework of this, the following events for the tourist market of Kazakhstan are envisaged on 12 of November: Master class: Motivation of personnel is the way to improve the quality of services; Master class: Principles, standards as a basis for the development of ecological tourism; Master class: Modern ways of forming tourism products and sales technologies.
Master-class on the author's training of the Chinese language. In Shymkent on 15th of November will be held the International Tourism and Investment Forum "Ontustik Tourism. Invest - 2017 from the Great Wall to the Heart of the Silk Road". The forum will be attended by more than 50 tour operators of China, Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Administration of the People's Republic of China Mr. Du Dziang, President of the Chinese Academy of Tourism Mr. Dai Bin, Member of the Board of the Association of Tour guides of Turkey Mr. Mustafa Yalchin, representatives of the Tourist Association of Asia and Pacific, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
