THE PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN ASSIGNED TO CREATE A LIST OF ENTERPRISES TO PROVIDE WITH LOANS
“In the current conditions it is crucial to increase lending to the economy, especially the manufacturing sector, small and medium businesses. Well, I say: give money to business, let's finance it, but who will take these loans, where do we have enterprises that are able to repay loans?! This is a question of the government, not the bank. Let's say to the bank now: give money, credit. The thing is, there is no one to take these loans and no one to return!” - the President said.
In turn, the head of the NCE RK Ablay Myrzakhmetov said that there are such projects that need to be lent.
“So let's now, together with the government, make a list of those that are needed by Kazakhstan, which produce products for export, we will give them money. Have we agreed?” - the Head of State summed up.
Recall, in the current year, the NCE RK Atameken carried out certification of more than 2 thousand enterprises of the country in 8 branches of the manufacturing industry. The survey showed that lack of access to finance is one of the key problems of enterprises, along with problems with sales and lack of raw materials. However, the survey showed an insufficient level of capacity utilization of enterprises, which was only 57%. In the framework of passportisation by the National Chamber, a market analysis was carried out, a list of goods was determined, the volume of imports of which is over $ 20 million. For these products, there are production facilities in Kazakhstan, which will allow import substitution.
