IMPORT ACCORDING TO THE LAW. "ATAMEKEN" HELPED ENTREPRENEURS TO DELIVER GOODS TO KAZAKHSTAN
In the first days of October, several entrepreneurs addressed the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" with the problems of supplying American chicken to the territory of Kazakhstan.
At the end of September, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor department in the Bryansk and Smolensk regions stopped containers with frozen chicken. Cargo was delivered from Lithuania through the territory of Belarus to Kazakhstan. The cargo came with by veterinary certificates, as well as by permits to import goods issued by authorized bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
With a request to understand the issues of food security, "Atameken" received a letter from the “Kazakhstan Food Union” ALE. The National Chamber sent letters to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Federal Service for Veterinary Supervision asking to review them in connection with the violation of the rights of shippers, consignees and forwarders in accordance with the regulatory legal acts of the EAEU and allow the delivery of goods to destinations.
The tightening of measures is connected with the increasing number of cases of clandestine importation of poultry meat across the Belarusian border under the guise of transit from Lithuania to Kazakhstan.
Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Rosselkhoznadzor received answers, according to which the Rosselkhoznadzor allowed to send these goods to Kazakhstani recipients.
