Entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the development of a new version of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The Ministry of Energy of the RK has started to develop a new version of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. To prepare the concept, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" received a draft Concept for the new Code.
The project proposes:
the introduction of a system for issuing integrated environmental permits based on the application of the best available technologies;
the need to prove the fact of causing environmental damage;
application of environmental impact assessment to the largest, environmentally hazardous enterprises;
simplification of the regulatory system for industries contributing a minimal or insignificant contribution to environmental pollution etc.
