Foreign ambassadors will visit 3 regions of Kazakhstan
Diplomats and entrepreneurs have determined the joint work plan for 2016
Today in Astana was held the second meeting of the Coordination Council of the Diplomatic Business Club with the participation of foreign ambassadors and leading domestic businessmen. During the meeting were adopted regulations of the Club and there was approved a joint action plan of diplomats and entrepreneurs for 2016.
The plans of the Club include the organization of the presentation of investment opportunities of Aktobe region for diplomats at the end of March of this year, as well as joint visits of foreign ambassadors and entrepreneurs to North Kazakhstan and South Kazakhstan regions. Earlier on February 5, 2016 in Astana within the framework of the Diplomatic Business Club was held the first meeting of akim of North Kazakhstan region Erik Sultanov with the heads of diplomatic missions, accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of these meetings and visits is to inform foreign diplomats about the investment potential of Kazakhstan's regions, as well as ongoing investment projects in various spheres of economy, industry, social sector, the implementation of assistance in the entry of investors in the Kazakhstani market, as well as to assist in the search of overseas partners for Kazakh businessmen, the entry of domestic companies to foreign markets, to promote their products and services. Ambassadors repeatedly voiced the need for the organization of such presentations and visits to the regions, and this was made possible thanks to the dialogue platform of the Diplomatic Business Club.
In addition, in the fall the participants of the Diplomatic Business Club will be actively involved in the platform Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), “K5: Kazakhstan Growth Forum”. The Club also plans to conduct informal activities, such as golf “Ambassador's Cup”, hurdle racing and horse riding competitions, as well as assistance in organization of the annual Christmas charity fair “Charity Bazaar”.
Diplomatic Business Club was established on July 2, 2015 on the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov and supported by the business community in the face of the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev in order to organize informal interactive platform to enhance interaction and cooperation between the diplomatic and Kazakhstani businessmen.
