German experts examined experienced specialists of Kazakhstani enterprises
Handicraft Chamber of Trier (Germany) under the Agreement on the implementation of the partnership project on vocational training with NCE RK "Atameken" conducted an exam among mentors of enterprises.
Note: mentor is an experienced specialist of a production company, who has a task to teach at a workplace a new employee or a college, high school student. At the same time a mentor continues to carry out production tasks, work.
Why mentors have become popular at enterprises?
Currently, the Kazakhstan enterprises are increasingly engaging in partnership with schools.
First of all, the students at the workplaces, perform simple, support, routine operations, and help skilled workers to make a significant contribution to the creation of surplus-value of products or services of an enterprise.
Second of all, when the company organizes internship of students at a workplace, the students master all the manufacturing operations, which are specific to the enterprise. As a result, HR department of an enterprise has the ability to choose and to offer graduates employment, who wish to continue working as a specialist, who are familiar with the technological features of the enterprise.
Consequently, the labor vanguard in the interaction of the enterprise and the educational institution is a professional, who is delegated with the function of training at a workplace.
To support enterprises the Department of Human Capital Development of NCE RK "Atameken" in a joint project with the Chamber of Crafts in Trier has organized 3 week training of mentors of enterprises in 6 regions in Shymkent since October 2015 to April 2016.
The training by German training course for teachers on the topic: "Professional and labor pedagogy. Certification of teachers " was attended by more than 50 participants from Astana, Atyrau, Almaty, Taraz, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Taldykorgan, Aktobe, Petropavlovsk.
The training was conducted together with German experts and specialists of Kazakhstan: "SK" Basis "(Astana), LLP “Borusan-Makina” (Karaganda), LLP "Kazakhmys Smelting" (Balkhash), European Bearing Company "Stepnogorsk" (Stepnogorsk), LLP “LegaGroup” (Karaganda).
Learning Outcome was assessed by two types of exams: written and practical work.
On May 17, 2016 simultaneously in the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent was held a written exam for German participants of the training course for instructors.
Exams took Albert Auvers, project coordinator, and representatives of the German embassy and consulate.
Evaluation of the final achievements of the participants by the end of the course will be confirmed by the international certificate of the Chamber of Crafts Trier, which is recognized in Europe and other countries where teachers hold master training in craft occupations. Therefore, the exam questions were drawn up by the Chamber of Crafts Trier, translated into the Kazakh and Russian languages, and in sealed envelopes, delivered to the city of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent.
Exam questions aimed at assessing participants' understanding of the economic benefits of the dual training for the enterprise, industrial training methods, steps of inclusion of a student to production processes, legal frameworks and mechanisms of the dual training in Germany, the role of the participants in the dual training.
Practical work consisted of a need to write a project of workplace learning (mentoring / training and work situation) for vocational training.
Workshop participants who have passed the final exam, will be invited (to 25 people) for additional training as future trainers for trainers - multipliers mentoring.
In the future multipliers will train mentors in their respective regions and enterprises. As a result, additional people will be prepared for enterprises for full fledged participation of students in the dual training.
