Registry of contractors for the Expo will be updated
Small and medium business of Kazakhstan will be able to earn at the show, but on certain conditions
The NC "Astana EXPO-2017" continues to shape the registry of Kazakhstan companies, cooperation with which is recommended for countries participating in the international exhibition EXPO-2017. "Indeed, the participating countries are approaching us regarding a number of issues; they need to be supported in a variety of areas in our country, and particularly in the city of Astana. For this reason, by the practice of previous exhibitions in other countries, we form the register of companies, which will be presented in various fields", - he said at a briefing at the Service of Central Communications the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC" Astana EXPO-2017" Erbol Shormanov, answering the question of the correspondent palata.kz.
According to Erbol Shormanov, representatives of the construction sector, as well as there are design companies, providing translation services from foreign languages, hotels, restaurants prevail in this list. "Now this registry includes 42 local companies. All companies are actually representatives of small-medium business, the services of which can be offered to all member states of EXPO, they can hire them as contractors to perform the work", - said Erbol Shormanov.
In this case, the registry includes only those companies that have "impeccable reputation, no tax debts and other unexplained stories". The selection is carried out within the framework of the program “Recommended by EXPO - 2017". The participants will get a certificate of assignment of an appropriate title “Recommended by EXPO - 2017" and the status of the Partner of Astana city.
At the request of palata.kz Erbol Shormanov commented on the issue of how much can earn representatives of Kazakh SMEs by provision of services for the participants and guests during EXPO-2017. "Now it is difficult to say, it will be more or less clear, when the countries will formally send their requests regarding what type of services they need”, - said the source palata.kz.
Summing up the theme, Erbol Shormanov added that the participants of the exhibition EXPO-2017 "have a right" not only on the independent search for contractors, but also can bring to Astana the representatives of their national companies. "But then there is a number of issues with the confirmation of licenses, for example, construction companies on the territory of our country, because we have our own legislation in this field", - said the deputy chairman of NC "Astana EXPO-2017".
"But given that many countries will be in Kazakhstan for the first time, we form the registry specifically, so that they can correctly rely on the services of these companies," - said Erbol Shormanov, adding that soon the register of approved contractors for EXPO will posted on the website of the national company.
It should be noted that today in Astana was announced Kazakhstan's plan to involve participating countries in the exhibition EXPO-2017. South Africa became the 100th country to participate, the campaign on the participation in the Expo will continue until the end of 2016.
