Agri Ministry plans to regain its veterinary and phytosanitary control functions

Members of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan propose to amend the Draft Law “On veterinary medicine”:
- implementation of veterinary, quarantine phytosanitary control and supervision at road border crossing points of the EAEU by state inspectors of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- -establishment of local executive bodies of the state veterinary organization at the regional level with separate subdivisions in districts, cities of regional significance with veterinary stations;
- suspension of activities on the issuance of the veterinary certificate by veterinarians of production control units of processing enterprises, only for three months and upon a court decision.
