Atameken calls on businessmen to review draft laws on technical regulation
The Atameken NCE RK received the Concepts of Draft Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On technical regulation" and "On the introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of technical regulation" developed by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The developers identified the key objectives of the concepts and defined the activities aimed at ensuring the security of the domestic market and the integrity of the accreditation subjects by:
- improvement of state control over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations;
- improving the mechanism for recall and removal of unsafe products;
- increasing the period of limitation of administrative liability for individuals (expert auditors) for violations in the field of technical regulation;
- introduction of a special procedure for conducting inspections with regard to the subjects of accreditation;
- improving the efficiency of the mechanism for tracking the fulfillment by importers of obligations under the procedure of conditional release;
- improving the procedure for suspension of an accreditation certificate;
- introduction of the notification mechanism;
- establishment of the institute of reference laboratories.
