State of Emergency: Educational state order to be paid to kindergartens regardless of children's attendance
In Kazakhstan, preschool organizations will receive state educational order payments regardless of the children’s kindergarten during an emergency introduced to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In cities of regional significance, preschool institutions operate regularly, with free attendance for children. There is no norm of the deduction for passes for this period. Places for children who will not go to kindergartens will be preserved. In turn, it is recommended to leave the child at home under supervision if possible and abstain from attending kindergarten.
There are about 3,800 private kindergartens and about 6,500 public kindergartens in Kazakhstan.
We would like to remind you that since March 19 quarantine has been introduced in Almaty and Nur-Sultan. In connection with this, private preschool organizations have suspended their activities for the period of quarantine.
Also in the country, schoolchildren were sent on holidays earlier than usual, their spring holidays will last from March 16 to April 5, 2020.
During vacation time, students, teachers, and parents have free access to Kundelik, Bilim Al, Mektep KZ electronic magazines and other available resources.
Teachers, in turn, provide students and parents with feedback on the performance of their educational tasks in an electronic journal and online.
At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the authorities will make an additional request.
