The general director of the design bureau "Bumsistems" Madina Zhanibek told about the innovations of the XXI century
- Madina, what does your company specialize in?
- When "Bumsistems" won the title of the first innovative project in Almaty, we were invited to Astana. Here we became grant-winners, invented an unmanned aerial vehicle. Know-how can be used in emergency situations, for patrolling roads and monitoring public order at major public events. It can monitor weather conditions, measure the amount of harmful substances in the air. Our company has been working for a long time, we are engaged in innovations - it is an intellectually constructive bureau.
- In what field are the developments in demand? Tell us about your latest inventions?
- Our developments are in demand in people's use, in everyday life conditions. I can name the last three innovative projects, this is an innovative patent for emergency landing of aircraft, the second is a patent for a device for safe riding, and the most important for the people is a device for cleaning sidewalks, roads, intradiversal areas, parking spaces from ice and now. During the development, several problems of the city were analyzed. This device is necessary both for the economy on a national scale, and for use when cleaning the territory of a private owner. Today, we have a patent issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and copyright, there is a design and estimate documentation.
- What is the special feature of this product?
- Difference from others - we do not use what harms our ecology. Green technologies and nanotechnologies were used in the manufacture. 9 people worked on the development of the innovative invention. In the CIS market, there are no analogues. It is a compact device, any fragile woman can work, you don't get tired. This is not a crowbar or a sledgehammer that forms cracks in the sidewalks. Our device does not destroy the pavement at all. The device will help to use effectively the time and productivity of labor. Our invention is useful and necessary for northern regions, and it is seasonal in the winter.
- At what stage is the operation process?
- The device has passed all laboratory tests. We tested it on small roofs, where we broke 2 to 8 cm of ice. The results are excellent. Currently, an agreement has been signed with the manufacturing plant, which exists from Soviet periods. It will make our devices.
- When will be launched mass production? Who are your customers?
- About 100 pieces will be released in November. The most active demand is expected for November, December and January. To date, our potential buyers are akimats of cities and regions, all utility and private companies. It is planned to produce in lots and by need of regions. We will participate in state procurements, private companies can conclude contracts with us. Now we decided to work in Kazakhstan, then we will go out to foreign markets. The prime cost of the device is 340-350 thousand tenge. We do not put intellectual property or additional charges into the price.
- In your opinion, what attention is being paid to science?
- It is necessary to create an institute of mathematics, an institute of cybernetics, so that the country needs technicians to develop. Now the country is full of lawyers and economists. Technicians especially innovative can be counted on the fingers. But we need a Kazakh investor, more precisely Kazakhstani partner. I am an educator and a lawyer by education, I am a co-author of the invention.
- What are your plans for the future?
- A new project is being developed to clean cities of plastic bottles. This is a worldwide theme how to get rid of garbage. We do not have foreign experts, all products of Kazakhstan content. On devices we write "Qazaqstanda zhasalgan".

- I have been cooperating with Atameken for a long time. I attend all trainings organized by the National Chamber, including courses on the Business Connections project. I have several certificates.
